How do I get more views and comments?

I have written 3 hubs.  I've had 9 views in 7 days and no comments.  I am really new to this and can't seem to get my stuff out there.  My hubber score is 77.  I am feeling discouraged.  Please give tips.  I have used stumbleupon and redgage, I have it linked to my facebook page.  I'm out of ideas to bring traffic.

Having looked at your hubs and activity. The simple answer is that you have to get more active. Read other hubbers work and leave a comment, follow them if you like what you read.
Hubpages is a very supportive community, but you have to put in the effort and it sometimes can take some time to get noticed.
Just keep writing and reading hubs and things will improve for you.

Thanks,  I will do that.  I will read more hubs and comment.  I appreciate all the tips from those who are making it work with hub pages.  I am excited about writing.  I have written a novel and love to write.  I was glad to find a forum to write on.

I agree to what molometer said. You really have to be active so the other hubbers notice you. Only follow when you like what they are writing and if the writer interest you.

Welll...I will go and look at your hubs. I suggest, though that reading lots of hubs and commenting on them will get people interested to see what you are writing. Asking  questions is good too.
I just read the one about Pell Grants, and would suggest editing and adding to it more discussion about college financing and even student loan debt to flesh it out.
The Pet's Bereavement hub is excellent, and I commented to say so.

Thanks so much for the suggestions.  I will work on that and thanks for the comment on pet bereavement hub.
