Why can't I download Flickr photos for free? I constantly default to using Wiki Commons.
There's tons of photos on Flickr that you're allowed to use for free under Creative Commons licensing. Here's the Flickr page that explains how it works. You need to give a link and/or credit line, though.
There are currently 38,179,496 free photos available on Flickr that only require attribution.
Chrisinhawaii, I will read up on it again. Every time I've tried I was not able to save the photo. I must be doing something wrong. Thank you!
Go here. http://www.flickr.com/search/advanced/
enter search term
choose photos only
choose only search creative commons
choose commercial use
view all sizes
select file size (e.g. original)
download original size
then click photographer's name
copy/paste profile into photo hub for attribution
ChrisinHawaii and TheHubFactory I will try this. Thank you!
If you use your own original photos, you'll get a much higher Google ranking.
