If a short hub article is all that you have to say on the subject, certainly. Depends on 'why' you are writing hubs. If your target is building readership, getting 'discovered' in search engines, high hub scores, etc. then short hubs are far less likely to get you there. On the other hand, if you are here for self expression, well. The late Ernest Hemmingway wrote a novel of only six words: "For sale, baby shoes; never worn."

Generally speaking, try to keep your hubs at 500 words at least for SEO though you can write less than that. As an example, my latest hub Outsourcing-Your-Blog-Content is less than 500 words. I didn't care really because I am not going to stuff my hub with unnecessary words to please search engines. My advice is--write until you are satisfied with your final work, that's it.

Yes you can write short hub article, but

    1. Hubs with very less number of words are not accepted for publishing.
    2.  Google like articles which has got more information in it.
    3. Reader like to get all required information from your article.

So, it is allowed to write short hubs but not much preferable.Hope this will help smile
