Why HubPages does not have any official mobile/tablet app?
Just checked on my Nexus tablet and there were a couple unofficial, I tried one but it just was a navigator embedded in an app
I, in my opinion, believe this is because it wouldn't really be in the best interest of the user nor would it convey the true idea of this site..... writing. We have become a society of convenience, the phrase "I have an app for that" has taken on a whole new meaning and because of this wondering where is and/or wanting an app for Hubpages is only logical. Now with that being said typing a 2000 word hub from a smartphone or tablet doesn't seem to be that appealing or practical in all honesty. Let know what you think.
I agree, Mr.N. Not everything needs a mobile app.
Mobile apps take time, money and resources to create.
My guess would be that at present HP resources are focussing on getting quality traffic to HP, supporting the community and recovering from the Google-slaps due to changes in their algorithms.
Ultimately, HP has to prioritize what they are going to work on and if I were in their position, I'd want to protect my current traffic and monetization model before moving on to developing a decent mobile app.
I know that mobile apps can help to engage people with sites (around 1/4 - 1/3 of my traffic is from mobile devices), so if it's decided that something other than a simple web browser is needed, I'm sure that they will work on it.
The best answer here is just wait, maybe in the future they update it. Have a nice day hubbers.

Ahmmm. I Dont know if this has been requested or not but I will suggest hubpages of making an Official App on Android / iOS so that we can write and publish our hubs easier. MODS, please be gentle with me. HeheReddit has done it.DeviantArt also.So maybe this time?

I joined Hubpages a few weeks back and I find it useful to share information with users from all over the world. But I do not understand why a user cannot promote his or her hub? What is the issue if I am bringing traffic to my hub from third party sources? You cannot write about this topic, you...

From our blog, we will earn 100% from our ads whereas in HubPages, we have to share 40% of it with HubPages, but still people are coming and writing on HubPages. Why? What are the advantages or benefits?

I see lots of posts on this forum saying "if only HubPages did this that or the other - I'd get my traffic back".The fact is that sites have to adjust to the way the Internet keeps changing. There is no going back to the way things were, there is only moving forward - with new platforms,...

Instead of being addicted to the Stats page and getting frustrated by its inefficiency, I suggest we get rid of hub scores and hubber scores and stats. Just keep us informed on a daily basis of earnings. This would free up time and resources on getting the site to work fast for all devices with...

If there were an offical mobile app for Hubpages, would you use it?For example, an app that allows for smart phones and tablets running Android and iOS software to allow you to write, edit, manage and follow hubs. There is currently an unoffical app in the Android market place, but it is just a...
