Can a Hub be too long?

    Can a Hub be too long?

    Do you think a Hun can be too long? Not so much that is so much text to read but because the way in needed to be set out made it so. I am writing an A-Z hub on a set subject and have a paragraph or two for each letter. Although these are only maybe 200 words each by the time I have all 26 letters done and a picture added to each the hub requires a lot of scrolling to get through.

    I think a Hub could be too long, it depends. If it is a poem, then for sure it can. If it is a story, then yes, but the limit is high.

    As I have been reading for 2 years here, I found that even your hub is too long, many people will read it & comment & discuss about it, if it is a high quality hub.

    i have read your hubs and would recommend that you could separate your hub into 2 hubs. Some people love to read lengthy hubs but i think it would be nice to separate them and add more capsules, pictures to brighten up your hub.

      I think that I will do this or possibly even 3 hubs. Even if I only write 200 words for each letters entry the entire hub will be over 5000 words which is going to make it very long.

      I'd concur... If I'm writing anything and it gets past 1,000 to 1,500 words I try to break it up into multiple hubs / pages. Just make sure you interlink the hubs so that people can find them and view them all.

    For me, as a reader, yes. I do not like to read really long hubs as it gets tiring. Personally, I like to see a subject covered concisely and accurately.  But that may be only me.
