Why do prefer answering questions to asking questions?

If the other way around then why do prefer that?

Near enough all the things I want to know, I can find out with print ecyclpaedias or dictionaries, and other text books, as well as google, so, often there is no need to ask on here, unless it's the mechanics of here.  We can have a bit of fun answering questions on here, often the English is abysmal or often they are just too absurd to give a sensible answer.

As I thought, a question for the sake of a question, no reaction to any of the answers.

Actually Mick i've sick for the last 3 days so please if you were worried about receiving an answer to boost your hub score or even recognition to feed your ego, it would have happened eventually. If you weren't and were just looking for a discussion

I can't say I have a preference either way. Sometimes I have a very hard time choosing a best answer because the answers all bring up a great points.

Well do you find yourself answering more or asking more questions there lies your answer.

I tend to answer more questions than I ask, not for lack of trying though. I've found similar questions already asked and sometimes it's hard to choose a single best answer. Perhaps HP should get a community vote going for answers like Yahoo?

I personally prefer asking questions, because I will learn stuff I do not already know. While answering questions is just restating information I already know. Although I do also enjoy answering questions just not as much as asking them.

Knowledge is power and we should try to learn one new thing each day. I like the way you think.

i prefer  to answer questions than posting questions because half of my questions are not answered at all. Furthermore, i find that answering questions, my views shoot up and so does my earnings.

I prefer answering question rather than asking, it is because I want to share my knowledge to others. I usually answer questions that I had already experienced so that I can answer the question well and give insightful thoughts.

How and Why is cause of anxiety to everyone. Most of us have doubts in our mind and there are lesser people who can answer questions. Those who have not yet joined HubPages might be having a question in their mind as to How to Join HubPages and after he/she joins HubPages may like to answer such web question answers. I like both asking for answers which I do not know and answering questions on the web to share my knowledge.

Glad to hear that there are others looking to obtain and impart information as well.

You make money by asking questions. Google ads are placed on your page and you can check the stat's for the questions asked.
