Is the Rising Star Award helpful?
Does the Rising Star nomination and/or award help with traffic to your hub?
No. No accolades help traffic to your hubs. But, it is quite an achievement. Congratulations.
I think it is an accomplishment and helps your confidence. It will get you a few more followers when you get it though. I got quite a few followers when I got one. Some of them continue to read my work, some don't.
It gives you a little boost, but it's temporary. It's a nice confidence builder for a new hubber, and it will gain you a few followers. Be sure to follow up with those who show interest in your hubs, followers will soon lose interest in you if you ignore them.
It is an achievement being a rising stars. It only shows that you have great hubs.
It's a great confidence booster, which, when you're a new hubber is great. Traffic comes with time and participation but I do think this award helps that too.
Thank you all for answering. I haven't won, but I have been nominated, and it is an honor!
I haven't seen any traffic increase yet, but I am hopeful.
