I think of a topic I feel like i HAVE to write about, and then plan a time to write about it. I make sure to keep the idea in my head a day or so before I plan to write it, that way i don't lose it, and I am confident in writing about it
I like writing about strange events so for my first hub I sent of a "how to" on ironing.
Not my usual genre at all and so I sent it off to see what would happen without worrying about it.
