It's not writers block... I just feel... Like I've reached an impasse. I have things I want to write about, But I can't seem to motivate myself enough to sit down and get them done..

I'm not sure what to do

You need a distraction, something to take your mind off things, perhaps a warm embrace, a longing gaze, and a soft kiss while a gentle hand strokes your soft hair...

What works for me is to ignore the laptop for a day or two but keep a notebook handy at all times.  There are always quick moments of inspiration (something on the radio, in the news or an overheard conversation).  These brief notes then prompt me back to the laptop and some new writing.

Don't worry about it - not many of us can simply write continually and I doubt any of us can write anything worth reading continually!

I get that too. Some days I am not only full of ideas, I can sit and write and turn them into hubs; other days, I get ideas but cannot for the life of me think how to write them down.
So, I just go with the flow, so to speak.

I often get ideas just when I'm talking to my husband or friends. I've found that the more I try to actually sit and think of ideas, the harder it is, for some reason!
