What happens if I change my title?
I know once you decide on a title the url will not change. But if you want to change the title slightly how does that affect the search? Do the search engines see only the url or do the recognize the new title?
The URL as you said will remain the same but if you change the title it may not be updated in the search engine until the article has been crawled again. It will eventually be picked up by the spiders though and reflect your new title. Search engines will read both the URL and Title but as for the weight given I typically aim for a good URL first then adjust my titles.
Thanks TechTrendy. I'm new to Hubpages and learning the ropes. I am trying now to lock in a good title that is search friendly, just wish we could add the title last, to make sure the title fits the content perfectly. I appreciate your input!

I'm sure you folks are too smart to do this, but I just did! I misspelled the word "depression" in my latest Hub! Taught me a good lession: go slower. Now it's there and there is nothing I can do about the URL. I did edit the title to correct.
