How long does it take for hubs to "Age"
Throughout my time here which has been short (6 weeks) a lot of the senior member's have stated the snowball effect or that hubs take time to age and suddenly your hub's become successful. Approximately how long does it take for this to happen? Cheers.
Thanks for your answer, did it snowball or did It steadily gain.
Every one is different. Not all will age and be successful, some will. I've had hubs that went viral on Pinterest almost immediately. I have had other hubs that sat for several months before getting a lot of search engine traffic regularly. A lot of it depends on how active you are at promoting yourself and your hubs. I tend to write in a couple of specific niches and that helps establish my reputation and people will share the things I write on their social media etc. It's a multifaceted effort in other words - not just post it and hope they eventually show up
Thanks for your detailed and experienced answer Christin Told me a lot. all the best
You have to remember that the internet is an ever changing adventure. If you are writing about something and there is no interest, nobody will read. However, it may become an item of interest at a later time and everybody will start reading. This is why it is good to write in several niches. From what I have seen, it could take as long as two years for you to earn credibility publicly and have your articles well read. Some people do it sooner, but either way, you must be patient. Good luck!
Thank you! Yes I have a mix of niche's already haha. Thanks for the advice, I know patience is always the key
It really depends on the hub. Some hubs get a lot of traffic at first, then fade away. Others start slow but then build an audience. Some never get many views at all. That's been my experience, anyway. Sometimes it's hard to make sense of what will be successful and what won't, but usually topics with less competition perform better.
Thanks for speaking from experience and thanks for your answer

A form of this question came up in a recent thread. I responded that I can and have written more than 10 hubs or articles in one day. I just finished a hub, and it took me 19 minutes to write it. It's 800 words long. Many of the articles I write for publishers are only 500 words long. So, you see,...

How long does it take for a hub to mature?Ok, do ive been here five weeks and built 25 hubs. I'm trying to get new hubs published each week but I really need some feedback. I can't seem to find an answer for this in the learning center. I have a large set of articles I've been writing for a while + some time on my hands to dedicate to Hubpages for the next couple of months. Would publishing 10 hubs a day benefit or disadvantage me, both in terms of hub score /...
