Does submitting a sitemap to google affects ranking and traffics?
I submitted a sitemap of my hubpages subdomain to Google Webmasters 2 days ago. Now, I see more blue arrow markings on my hubs (indicating lesser traffic). I wonder if this is just a coincidence, that after verifying my subdomain and submitting a sitemap, my traffic goes down. What do you think? Does submitting a sitemap affects your traffic?
I would not think so. I believe this to be just coincidence. I do not think it will help or hurt your traffic in anyway.
