Are our own views counted in the totals on the "my account" page?
This is something that I've been wondering for a while. I suspect that they are, but wondered if somebody could confirm this for me, as it's just useful to know!
Yes, I believe that they are included.
I could be wrong though ... cheers! : )
Ah, thank you. I tried to see whether my views on a new hub roughly corresponded to the number of times I edited it, but because there's probably a delay, it got a bit confusing! Thanks for your answer.
Well, that was my observation as well: when I return to look back at some articles which had no views for a long time, I see the view numbers increase. So, my own views seem to bring-up the total views numbers.
They definitely are. You can get Google Analytics to ignore your own views, but sadly with HubPages you cannot.
This is one of the reasons why I think Google Analytics setup is important to remove your own views, very easy to setup and the stats you get are insanely useful.

Currently the totals are located at the bottom of "My account" which means you have to scroll down or press Ctrl End. I am respectfully requesting that same information Totals at the bottom should also be placed just below the column headers.thank you.
