Will it do any good for my hub if I repeat a word again and again?
I just had a thought. Will it do any good if a repeat a word again and again in the Summary. For e.g. if I write a Hub about Swimming, will it do me any good and comes easily in the searrch engine if I just repeat the Swimming again and again in the Summary of the hub???
I presume you would want to do this as keyword optimisation strategy. It is not good to over repeat words and expressions in an attempt to make good your chosen keywords. Google and other search engines may just devalue your hub for keyword stuffing.
One way to tell that your hub is suffering from keyword stuffing is the unnatural manner in which it reads or sounds. If your sentences and expressions do not flow naturally, you probably have over repeated some words, and which should be revised.
A better way to repeat keywords involves the use of synonyms. this too should be done wisely.

I've seen people saying that they are writing longer hubs and getting more traffic. I've always heard at least 300 words up to 800 or so. Have you found an optimal number to shoot for?
