Does anyone actually make money with Adsense?
Like I asked, does anyone actually make money on this site? I have heard the minimum payout is $100 but I saw in the help section it's $50, but how do people do it? I've made only $1.80 in about 5 months and I have over 20 hub articles. How does one become so popular? I have only one page that has over 1000 views, the rest are well under that amount. Please, if anyone has any advice on how to write more popular hubs please, PLEASE tell me! I need to make some money besides my part time job. Thank you.
To get paid directly by Adsense, the minimum payout is $100. Adsense is slow earnings, based on clicks on their ads, and what each click pays.
The minimum payout from Hub Pages is $50.
I wish I could spell.
I meant: "I am pretty sure that hubPages makes money with adSense"
To make any serious money on any of those programs you need massive traffic to your site. adSense makes only sense for viral Youtube channels, maybe.
I do make money with it, but I also use AdSense on my own websites/blogs in addition to writing hubs. It isn't easy to get established here and you can't just write something and let it sit. You need to promote it and give it time to get more traffic, you also need to learn about SEO (search engine optimization) so that people can find your content. Many of my better performing hubs are a couple of years old. It takes time. I would suggest branching out and doing other things in addition to HubPages if it's a job you're seeking to supplement.
It took me a long, long time to reach my first payout. But, once I did I do tend to reach it a lot sooner (a couple of months vs several months). This is, of course, with hubpages. Adsense has a much higher minimum for payout. ($100 vs the $50 needed for hubpages) I also have a lot more hubs over a lot more topics now than I did when I first started. Two of my highest traffic hubs are within the first five search results on google. That is not a coincidence.
Give it time and be patient. The people that are making a lot of money here didn't get there overnight. You need to build up following. Try posting a link for one of your hubs on pintrest or tumblr. Both sites have a lot of potential readers.
If making money is your ultimate goal I strongly suggest using other blogs to get there. Yes, this is a nice way to make a little extra cash. But, I doubt it will be enough to pay the bills. At least, not for a long while. Best of luck!
Try to register hubpages earning program, you can earn $50 in three months or five minths, better than adsense
$50 in tree to five month? How much is that per hour?
I stopped checking my AdSense balance a long time ago, because glaciers move faster than it does. I'll be here four years this April, and I still haven't hit the $100 minimum. At the rate I'm going I'll be an old man before I see that hundred Google bucks.
I do better with the HP Ads Program ($50 minimum). I got two payouts from that in the past year, which is probably small potatoes compared to some of y'all but at least it was *something* for cryin' out loud. I wish I'd signed up for it sooner, before traffic to the whole site started goin' into the tank late last year.
Thank you all for your answers. I'll see if I can figure out how to change it to make money off HubPages instead of the adSense thing for the minimum $50.
I am trying to make a little money off this site, not a whole job lol as I do have a part time job and a side business making dragons and selling them. This site was just supposed to be able to help me make a little extra money to put into my savings.
I'm also trying to find ideas that would be popular topics and generate more traffic to my area. I don't have a tumblr account but I do have other accounts around the web that I've posted my link to my site on. I'll keep trying on this site though I won't give up.

So far, (Saturday 16th December 2024), this month has brought the lowest earnings by a huge margin for many, many years on Hubpages. Is anyone else experiencing something similar? What on earth is going on with this site? It used to be a really good sideline, but now it's hopeless.

I am writing articles for this website since past 3 months. At present, I have 38 featured and published hubs. I have joined for Amazon and google Adsense program. Past two months I earned like very less amount, less than 1/2 dollar. If I continue writing and publishing at the rate of one article...

I was up to 95.16 on my adsense and then all of a sudden it stopped, but I don't remember making any changes - Since it is so close to the threshold, can someone please check my account to see why it is not registering hits any more? How can I fix this? I really appreciate your help.

Just gaging anyone else's earnings here. I just checked google adsense and I have earned 64 dollars in 18 months. I've only written 19 Hubs and most of them don't get any traffic. Any thoughts?

I was refraining about talking about this but it really is bad. Last month with adsense was my most profitable month, but this month so far I got 3 clicks...What could have made this change?-New Hubpages Layout?-April 1st Conflicker Virus? I was thinking these two things can't be so harmful to my...
