    Hi friends :-)

I just joined HP and I already have an Adsense a/c. Can someone advise me what the above remark is about under the "Affiliate Settings" section.

I also don't seem to see my own pub number coming up when I refresh my hub...

Thank you very much for your help :-)

    Have a great day!

After you associate your existing Adsense account with HubPages there is a confirmation process that Google follows to ensure that someone didn't associate your account without your permission.  I believe this involves them sending you an email and you confirming that you intended to associate your account with HubPages.

You can view existing associations at the URL below (or after you login to AdSense, under My Account -> Account Access)

You may be able to confirm the association from this page as well, but since I associated my account almost a year ago, I can't recall the exact process.  It may take as long as a day or two for your association to wind its way to completion.

Once it is complete and it says active on HubPages, you will begin to see your adsense id on your hubs (for 60% of the impressions).

Thank you very much Paul :-)

For the benefit of all who needs the next step...

After login to Adsense, My Account > Account Access

It will show under "Sites" - Hubpages Pending

Go to "Action" and click on "Enable Access" - then double check in your hub pages - My Account > Affiliate Settings to see that your PUB No. is Active.

    Have a great day! :-)

Okay so what if I don't see any of that on the Account Access page.  This is the message I get:

"Access to your account has not been granted to any additional parties."

I have ads on my pages, I already had a Google account for their book search program so I just had to add AdSense to it.  What am I missing here?

Thanks to all my unseen friends in the hub community who responded with prompt concerns to my questions.I hereby replay to the comments made therein.
1 By report, I mean the report to be sent by adsense soon after the earning reaches $100, or the PIN number when my earning reaches$50.I did not receive any such means, I have not earned that much. Two hours work at the computer for about 30 days, shouldn't fetch that much?
        2. I have to spend money to pay the telephone charges while I use the internet. In India, WE have to pay Rs.14 perhourfor using internet.Apart fromthat, We have to spend for photographs too.
3 As per the suggestion of one of my fellow hubbers, I logged on to Google Adsense, and opened my accounts page. From there, I could not proceed to 'Accounts access' as that option is not visibly available there.
4 Anyway ,I got one 'optimisation report' recently from adsense team which suggested me to use refferls, which I have not been using so far. I shall pay attension to that.
5 Presently, I have not entered  into any any agreement with any other advertisers except google adsense.
Further suggestions are welcome.THANKS to all
