Has the Annual HubPages Writing Competition been replaced with the Editors Choice cash 'Award'?
Would a little cash incentive inspire you to write more on HubPages? I am missing the Annual Challenge and also the cash incentive which came with it. Am I am the only one?
To be honest, I've been here for years and never noticed a contest. I must not be very observant, hehe. Having a writing outlet and making a little extra cash doing something that relaxes me is definitely my incentive for writing on Hubpages
I wish they'd reinstate the Tutorial. You got paid for taking the lessons and writing, I think it was, five evergreen hubs.
I suspect that their contests are inconsistent because their workload is inconsistent. They'd probably love to host more events for their writers, but most of their day is spent battling google's search parameters and spammers. I'd say they should hire more people, but I don't make them enough money.
