My first three hubs were just featured. How do I draw traffic to them? Please help.
You can share them on all of your social media and be sure to include the link. Make your statement something exciting, like: I just got featured!
You are on your way Kevin, but a big part of building traffic to your hubs is to develop followers to your work. Find other hubbers with similar interests and follow a few (hope they follow back) and you'll build up your own little community over time and that will help drive more traffic.
yes, share them at FB, twitter, google lus, pinterest, linkedin, tumbler, you will get external traffic
How I get traffic:
1. Use Google suggest to find a topic people are Googling.
2. Write the hub and press publish.
3. Ignore it and repeat.
Why work hard on traffic when you can be building up a bigger base of content? If your hub has terrible SEO or is in a saturated topic, it likely won't get traffic, no matter how much you promote. So learn how to find good topics, then Google will send you the traffic and that traffic will usually turn into organic shares and backlinks.
Also, "internal" traffic is fairly pointless. Having other hubbers visiting your hubs won't earn you more than a few cents and the active hubber community is tiny compared to the millions of people searching on Google. Less than 5% of my traffic is from Hubpages.
