What percentage of your Views result in Comments?
With 56,387 Views and 8,283 Comments my percentage of Views that result in Comments is just shy of 15 percent. How about your percentage? I have the feeling (perhaps false) that "the higher the percentage, the more the article engaged the reader." Beautiful Hubs and controversial Hubs may perhaps do the best at inspiring comment. What do you think gets them most often?
Less than 1% but I don't really expect comments. Comments for me generally means I didn't cover enough in my article. If I did then they wouldn't have any questions about the subject at the end.
Today over the last year about 10%. In the past especially a few years back was higher when active much more in social circles here at HP. I use to track them out of curiosity by Hub using the csv download into an Excel spreadsheet. I discovered for me comments are all from HP. Comments dropped off after the initial 60 days from the initial % to closer to 2%.
Less than 1% of the views on my hubs result in comments, but there is a steady stream of views, so I don't worry about the comments.

I now have 17 articles published and most are in niche sites. Why am I not getting comments from readers? I have very few comments so far. Is this related to quantity of impressions, where the more impressions I rack up...
