Should HubPages increase how much users get paid?
Would doing so increase how many hubs you write? What are some ways increasing the percent payout would benefit HubPages? What are some ways they could implement an increase in pay without creating an immediate crunch on their bottom line?
They are paid via revenue sharing, and Google isn't paying them much for ads. Hubpages is hurting because Google ranks their content lower than higher "authority" domains like LiveStrong, Demand Media's content, Wikipedia.

I have over a thousand hubs , mostly poetry , around six years on Hub pages , over five hundred more as yet unfinished and unpublished hubs , a score in the mid forties , Not now...

I know this is going to be a big no, but honestly, I would be motivated to write more hubs and clean up old ones if I got paid 80% instead of 60%. Even 70% would motivate me more. Anyone else feel the same?
