I doubt anyone could give you an exact answer. I believe a page being featured merely makes it available for Google's web crawlers. The web crawlers find the pages and index them for SERP. Who but people at Google would know just when or how the crawlers crawl, and what time passes before there is an assessment for SERP?
I guess you could run tests yourself, by Googling for the title.
I remember four years back, my featured articles (some) showed in SERP right away. But then I thought that it has been quite a while now and a lot must have changed. Yes, I noticed a lot has changed. Still, I realized I have this undying passion in writing so I'll continue where i left. A lot of things to learn and relearn here...but i'm glad I'm back.
For the serp, I guess I'll just have to sit and wait for the hub to appear soon hopefully.
