Who owns the articles we publish here on Hub pages?
I am starting up my own website to promote any writing am doing (also so I don't have to edit the stories for a site developed for articles not stories). I want to publish my short stories on my site. So, my question is do I have the right to republish my stories on my site if I published them here on Hub Pages first?
You own the content you create for HubPages. You can remove and republish that content at any time.
However, you do have to remove anything published on HubPages that you post on your own site. Otherwise, you'll end up with a duplicate content warning, and your stats will drop like a rock.

When it was first introduced I was annoyed by it but made an effort to tweak my hubs to get them out of Idle status. Now, a whole load have got zzs against them again and many of them are hubs that at one point were...
