Bought a Yamaki Deluxe in the late 60's from a pawn shop in San Francisco - but no paper label
Is there any other way to find out the details - i.e. Model & Construction ? I can upload some photos if that will help - Looks very much like the beautiful photo of "Uncle Thomas's " Yamaki - very light but I assume Red Cedar Top but not sure if the back is Rosewood or not - Any Help would be appreciated - NOT FOR SALE Jer

In London, there are some shops called "The £1 shop". Everything in it, is just for £1 and it's amazing to see some of the stuff you can get. However, you could end up spending about £10.Do you have such shops in your area and are they worth it?

Have you ever bought or sell collectables from pawn shops?Like to know which items you bought or sell and how is your experience. Also like to know whether it is worth of your money.

For me, it's a toss up between New York and San Francisco. I love the older type cities built for walking, with real neighborhoods, and small open markets. I loathe places like Phoenix which are nothing but ugly highways and big box stores. Yuck. Plastic.
