Is there any way of doing this?
Maybe an extra column could be added to the stats table to show the number of sales so far.
I asked staff once if this was possible but apparently, HubPages are not supplied with this information. Often I can tell which hub it was because people buy the things which I recommend. When we had e-bay ads we were given this information.
As you say Sally, sometimes it's possible to get an idea of which Hub led them onto Amazon. Sometimes however readers buy the most unusual things, totally unrelated to any hubs, so they must get distracted along the way! It would be nice if we knew which hub was the entry point to Amazon so that we could get an idea of whether an ad ever gets clicked on.
If you become a Amazon affiliate outside of Hubpages you most certainly can tell as it is link based and trackable. Odd than HubPages doesn't track this. It may be how they are implementing things.

Janderson just submitted some great suggestions on this thread:http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/126313#post2666393and I think this one deserves a suggestion post on its own. We're always being told to be discriminating with our Amazon capsules - less is more, they must be directly related, etc...

I intended to post a link from my hub to her book on amazon, however, upon further reading I read it is generally a good idea to have one or two hubs already posted before I try...

I want to continue to create new capsules within my blog, but I don't want my readers to have to continually scroll down. How do I archive some capsules, to make room for more current posts? Can I archive old text capsules, but create links of some kind, that my readers can access?Laurie Summer
