What are the number of Amazon links that are permitted now? I have been replacing the Amazon capsules with links.
According to Marisa Wright´s article on how to follow the rules (https://hubpages.com/community/How-to-M … ed-to-Know) you can include one item every 300 words.
I think the upper limit is actually two or three items per article. Even if your article is 2000 words, it would not be a good idea to add more than that.
Hubpages won't actually specify a number, but each capsule must be highly relevant to the hub, and you must make it clear that you have personal experience with the product, and explain why you think it's better than other similar items.
I have an article that would not be featured, and the editors took out my 1 amazon link and then it was featured. 1 Amazon link out of 2377 words. And yes, it was very relevant to the article. What is the point here if we cannot have Amazon links.
The point is you need to learn how to add them. Did you write about the product specifically? If not it's going to be taken out.
Yes, I have numerous articles like this and others have 1 link that are fine. It also seems that the more of my articles get featured the lower my score. I have never had problems like this on here before.
If you're interested, here is the article in question. The link was under the sub heading Stock Market Investing.
The article is https://hubpages.com/money/Best-stock-market-books-2
This book is written more for the value investor, but it has invaluable information for investing in all types of stocks.
This is not enough information about the book. It doesn't prove that you know about the book to promote it. Why is it useful to the value investor? What can you get out of it. Add more information there and then try linking to it. The same for the next book.
Maybe add that you have personally read these books too.
Actually he was known as someone who could find the next big growth stocks. The most famous story in the book was when he went to the store with his wife and discovered Leggs, the panty hose in an egg shaped container.
Thanks for all of the help, I will continue to work on these articles.
Obviously the moderator did not agree with your take on how "relevant" your link was. You need to be very careful about how you word and place ads of any kind. I have numerous hubs that have both capsules and links, sometimes as many as 4 of them in a hub...no problems at all. Every hub is on niche sites.
This used to be one of my most viewed articles. Thanks TT for the help.

I just completed my first year on hubpages. Until recently, I haven't had any issues getting my hubs featured. Just a few tweaks coming from Squidoo and all was well, but recently with every hub I edit, I get a lovely e-mail from HQ saying, "Your hub could be featured . ....

I understand the rationale for removing amazon capsules. I'm very careful not to include amazon capsules unless they are 100% relevant, and I can provide a personal opinion. I rarely do more than one per hub.HP is not only snipping amazon capsules on hubs for niche sites, but also just to have a...
