I tweaked one of my featured articles last Friday and it was unfeatured within two hours. I was "What?"  Five days later of retweaking, still not featured, rewriting, still featured, and taking shots in the dark to get it right, my article is featured again. All in all, it was a great experience, and the article is better. The incident was an anomaly. I hope I don't have to go through that again.

What article is it? I wouldn't mind taking a look at it and maybe helping you tweak it.

Thanks.  It is featured now. I worked and worked on it. Finally, got it featured again.  It's not my best but I like the subject - https://hubpages.com/health/Effectively … -Trim-Down

I’ve never had an article unfeatured, but I have received notifications that I had to do this and that and that and thus with the article to keep it featured.

I would have liked that. I pretty much had a form letter, not very helpul.

I have also received form letters that made absolutely no sense at all.

When you say not featured, or removed from being featured, does this mean not being published?

No. It was still published. It just was not featured anymore. I had to correct it to get a future it again, which I did
