Featured Snippet But Not Much Traffic

So my photography tips guide appears as a series of steps extracted from an ordered list for the search term "improving photos", but I only get about one view per day.
Is it just that no one searches for this term, or am I missing something?
Maybe what's happening is readers are satisfied and the list of points answers their question and don't proceed to the webpage. So featured snippets mightn't be a good thing after all if too much info is provided.

I have articles with the snippet thing that get a lot of traffic and some that get little, and, yes, I think it has to do with how many people are searching for that particular thing. That's pretty much what it's always about.

I do not think you have this one. I don't see it. No niche site article is on the first page either. And your traffic says you do not have it either. Make sure you are not logged in to your google account when checking such stuff.

I cleared my cache, including cookies and deleted my browsing activity for all time and logged out, but it's still showing the article as a snippet for that phrase. Startpage.com shows the hub as the first entry in search results.

I'm seeing it as the fourth result on Startpage, which is pretty impressive for those keywords. When searching I almost always ignore the top result and go for ones further down the page.

Edit: that's a damn good hub by the way smile

Feltmagnet is #11 right now in Belgium, startpage it is #5. This term does not show me any snippet.

But, anyway, this term has a 0 searches per month average search volume (just checked it out now).

You're kidding?! I'd have thought it was a pretty good one.

One thing I found is that you need to share your article, I use Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Google+ and StumbleUpon and I found that I get a lot of traffic by sharing my articles, Google+ has been very helpful because I can join multiple groups and share my articles there.

So with all the millions of searches per month, nobody searches for that term? Or does zero searches mean just the two words on their own?

That doesn't mean you can't find better keywords and edit the title and hub to reflect them. 'Improve photos' looks a little better, though Brandon will probably be able to find a good one for you.

The two words on their own. I am on a conference this week. Will be back home on the weekend, will check out the hub and let you know if I can find a better title for you. If I do not get back to you by Monday, send me an email.

Ok, thanks Brandon. In general, I wonder is it a good idea to use verbs or what I think are called "gerunds" in titles? I.e. "improve" versus "improving"?
