How can I insert a table into a hub article? Will I have to use html?

      Sam,

The easiest way I've found to insert a table is to create one on a spreadsheet and then take a screen shot of it and save it on my desktop. Then I can insert it the same way you insert a photo.   Gives you much more control than using the method provided by the team.

Not a bad idea. It might not end up as long either using a screen shot instead of the table I used.

Works great...plus you can save it for use in other hubs that might involve the same topic.

Google won't recognize it as a table of data, and won't give that data to searchers as a result...

Here's another method of inserting a table better than inserting a photo. Well actually, inserting a photo is good if you want to retain every aspect, shape and detail of the image. But photos are usually a little blurry when posted in a capsule. If you want a sharp copy of your table here is what you can do.

Create your table using excel spreadsheet. When you're done, save the table in CSV format.
In your hubpage use the table capsule and download the CSV spreadsheet that you had saved. It will then appear clear and crisp in the hubpage.

This sounds good but I don't think it will give the control you may need when creating the table.  My method produces clear images, so I still think this will work best.

How do you save a screenshot into the desktop?
Never mind, I figured it out.
