I haven't posted a new Hub in well over a year.  How long does QAP take these days? I put a new Hub up a couple of days ago, but no love yet.

I'd like to post it on my write's FB page before the weekend when traffic drops, but I'd like to have it featured before I do.

I'm wondering if the recent US Independence Day has created a backlog of new Hubs for the editors.

It usually takes about a day.
Is it the hub about canine sports? That is showing up so you should be able to post it on your FB already. I opened it and read it without any problems.

Thank you Dr. Mark! Do you know if it isn't fully featured yet, will it still get the same cash per view as if the ads were showing on a Featured article?

At this moment it is still not featured. There are no ads displayed yet and I also confirmed it by looking at the source code–it still has the noindex meta tag so search engines ignore it. However, you can post the URL anytime you want for people to see it.

Once it's featured, which can happen anytime, the noindex meta tag is removed and the ads start appearing so you can make money from it.

I do not think so.Someone from HP staff (do not remember who) said that we should wait until after QAP before posting on social media.

Dr Mark is right about waiting. There is no point getting your social media followers to read your hub as long as you're not getting paid. Wait till you see the ads appear. No need to look for the "noindex" as I had explained above, because the ads make it obvious when it's featured.

Thanks guys.  I took your advice and waited.  It's listed as featured now, so I posted it on my FB page.  I appreciate your help!!
