Please check and see if you are able to figure out anything in the article thats causing these abnormal experiences
Hi,
These are the problems as I see them:
Your article is not formatted correctly. The title and subtitles need to be in title case.
The large block of text should be broken into a minimum of three text capsules.
There should be at least one legal image.
And the article is a little too short. Go for around 1,000 words.
Also, and this is really important... do you think anyone is searching for your title? The whole point of writing here is to produce articles that people are looking for.
Explore the Learning Center for tips: https://hubpageshelp.com/
You need to capitalize some letters in the title and add some sub-headings in the body. You can also try adding an author bio!
Then above all, your article should be UNIQUE (not copied from somewhere else).
I think this is potentially a very powerful article. A few things - It might help to provide a bit more "objective" material in your own words in addition to the quotes to make it seem less like a blog post and more like an article. HP isn't a blogging platform so the personal nature of the post might be getting in the way of it being published, not that a personal perspective is completely discouraged.
The comment about it being original before this one I think is in reference to the number of quotes not the actual piece itself. The article is short to begin with and could use expanding - while people will say an article should be a minimum of 700 words I would say it should really be at least 1000 words - 1250 if you can manage it and aren't using fluff to get there. It is very quote heavy such that at least half of it is others quotes. It you use quotes make them short ones - a sentence or two max. then spend time explaining what they mean to you and what they have to do with the topic.
As the last person suggested - Create sections and use subtitles for each. This is an HP preference. Also be sure to break it up into capsules - that's something HP generally requires.
Finally use at least one "legal" picture - either google images filters as labeled for reuse or one of the many public domain sites - 2-3 if the article is long enough to warrant them and you can find ones that contribute to the article.
Then just make sure to proof it carefully and you'll be good to go. Good luck!
Hi, many a thanks for the replies. My first article is finally published and i am over the moon in joy.
Revised the article as suggested by the respected members and due credit to them finally got it published.
Congratulations, now on to the next one

What part of writing your Hub do you find the most difficult? Or any type of article for that matter? The intro has-is-and will be the hardest part for me personally. It shouldn't be, but this is the part that I have always struggled with.I will make an outline before writing any hub. List all...

I just published a new article called "Interesting Guns in Gaming". Unfortunately, the web address for this article used the original name of the article "Top Three Guns in Gaming". Do I have to do something before publishing?

I noticed something peculiar on one of my recently published Hubs. The title of that article published on 4/19/2011 was called-"Pet Cock-A-Poos and Skin Allergies" When I clicked on my account today, it had the symbols embedded within and said "(Pet@#*%-A-Poos And Skin...
