Great, Not really! I show that I've made some profit off of Amazon but haven't had any earnings put into my account, at all and don't even know where it's gone. I was actually making a pretty good profit with the ebay capsules in a few different ways.  Is there a way to add links to the articles for ebay or is that against rules? I'm only finding info from years ago. Everything keeps getting more and more complicated...

Amazon has a 60 day reporting time lag.  So if you earn in September you don't get paid  until November on those earnings, etc.  Can't link to Ebay, either.  They no longer partner with HP.  However, you can earn by placing Amazon ads...but be careful not too use too many and that you post them appropriately...otherwise your articles won't get featured.

I checked your profile and see that you only have written 7 articles in 8 years.  To really earn, you'll need many more. You can't even be accepted to Adsense until you have 10 or so articles that have been featured.  This site no longer exists for the purpose of selling products, so if that's your goal, you're in the wrong place.

Thank you for your replies! I actually published with 2 main goals in mind and that was to spread awareness about an extremely misdiagnosed and rare autoimmune disease and also to let others know that there IS a treatment for it now. I am the only one who developed and offers the treatment to other sufferers. That's why there are so few articles that I've published and to be quite honest, HP isn't really serving much of purpose for either of these goals now. So, what exactly is the goal of HP, haha?! Seriously, make money, be informative, sell, backlink, give people with a whole lot of spare time to publish/tell stories? Just curious, seems as though it's a catch 22 for some of us with legitimate purposes for publishing here. At one time I had other articles and am still with Google adsense but deleted several, didn't like them much and don't have spare time to write about things that serve me no purpose in the least.

So what you are saying is that you do not have the background, education or expertise to run clinical trials and don't want to share this information with the medical community so that they can bring it to the public?  HP is not the problem here.  You are trying to find a way around the normal standards of care, and while your product may be good, you're trying to make money off of it without having properly vetted it.  That's not HPs fault.  This is a writing site, not an advertising venue.

Ok, now I'm even wondering if some of the community here serves a worthy purpose, aside from judgmental opinions or statements? You do not even know me, my background, education, etc. Here is some information specifically for you:  Do NOT eat organic bananas or potatoes because they contain potassium. Bananas and potatoes can not be patented but can still save the life of those who are severely potassium deficient especially in underdeveloped countries that are medically lacking. Potassium deficiency is extremely dangerous and not tested for much either. Prescription high blood pressure and diuretic medications among others can cause an extreme deficiency. The deficiency can actually cause muscles to spasm so severely that it can cause cardiac arrest. The medical/science community can and does extract potassium from natural organic sources (adding chemicals to extractions from salt water) to make prescription potassium patentable, prescribable , extremely expensive, worthy of clinical trials, and vetted. Taking the prescription though, such as K-Lor, requires blood serum levels to be monitored because too much potassium can also cause cardiac arrest (same life threatening symptoms and possible fatality). Don't take my word for it though, you can obviously read, write, and research this on your own. Don't eat a banana or any taters while researching these things though!!! They probably haven't been through clinical trials before hitting the grocery store, been vetted properly through the government, medical/science community, and big pharma and you may end up with Hyperkalemia (too high of serum blood levels of potassium), Salmonella, or E. Coli in the process. This in fact, would require you to have to go to the hospital for medical care, testing, and prescription drugs. I saved my own life for over a decade before diagnosis because I was born with an autoimmune disease that is listed with NORD (national organization of rare disorders). The medical community considers this autoimmune disease an "orphan disease". Meaning that they completely regard it as a disease that is negligible in being worthy of study, research, testing, treatment, treatment options, clinical trials, and/or a cure due to the amount of diagnosed/undiagnosed cases since it's discovery in 1927. I was the 10th medically tested and diagnosed case since 1927 and there was absolutely no medical treatment. This has been and/or was life threatening and fatal to myself and many others who have remained undiagnosed/misdiagnosed or had NO treatment options. Birth control is the number 1 cause of the acquired form of the disease meaning that it can cause the disease, unlike myself who was born with it due to a genetic immune system glitch. I have and still do help others with this same disease worldwide with testing, diagnosis, and treatment. Since I am the only one that has suffered from this specific autoimmune disease since birth, been tested and positively diagnosed, survived, developed a treatment that is organic but patentable due to the simultaneous extraction and infusion process, then I would have to say that I have expertise to the point of my own high risk medical specialists keeping records, studies, and notes of my progress and treatments. What you mentioned above requires money, time, and a lot of it. I'm a 44yr. old, widowed mother of 5 who is a survivor if you would like to continue to pass judgment. Publishing my story here is MY WAY of TRYING to share my story, experience, and this information with the medical community and other sufferers. THAT is what I AM saying. By all means, carry on putting words in the mouths of others and stick to writing about RV's (with no ads). My question was answered. Thank you!

I don't doubt that you likely have had experience, etc, but this does not qualify you to give medical advice to the public.  I'm glad that you have found ways to deal with your own health problems, but doubt strongly that any medical journals would accept your writings.  Annecdotal experience is not a substitute for medical training and is not generally accepted as proof of anything by the medical community.  As stated earlier by another poster, HP does not accept self promotion, so fume as you must, you're going to have problems here until you cite your sources and show concrete medical evidence that shows what you are saying is true.

I published my own story and experience here and was personally requested by other individuals who were desperate for advice, diagnosis, and treatment to allow them to try the treatments. Some of these requests are in the comments section below my published articles here on HP. As with any natural/organic treatment, supplement, vegetable or fruit, like a banana or herbal tea, I am not liable in any way. The treatments I developed are not on here but my contact info is. I have cited medical journals and sources but quite honestly do not have to cite any source at all. I'm living proof with medical records to prove it, which I share in private/personal emails, on my own website, and  in my own forum. There's HIPPA laws, as far as personal medical records go. I have all proper legal disclaimers and the  US FTC allows imports for all of the bulk organic ingredients used in the development of the treatments. You see, I could care less about the medical industry, big pharma, medical journals, medical insurance, etc. because they cared less about me for a very long time which is why I keep my secrets to myself. I would not allow the USPTO  to patent and publish every single detail of the treatments for the very specific reason of keeping it out of greedy hands. I'm not fuming in the least, I have my own website and other platforms. HP is very simply a place for me to freely get my story and experience published to more search engines, communities, and others in need of what I needed many years ago.

I applaud you if you truly developed a treatment as you described. However, HubPages terms of service does not allow self promotion. You’d probably do better with your own website dedicated to your cause.

Just keep in mind that if you are focused on writing to benefit your own purpose, as you indicated, then Google will ignore whatever you do. You need to write for the reader, not for yourself.
