Articles for networking sites

I noticed some of the networking sites such as LetterPile ask for other material besides articles. I write articles and poetry. Is there a separate place to submit (new) poetry for review and featured or how does that work?

I was reading that to wait awhile before sending anything to network sites. Since Hubs is primarily articles, I was wondering if there is a limitation on which items can be featured and moved and which cannot.

    Thanks

      Hello,

You can submit poetry/creative writing the same way you submit articles, they all go through the QAP the same way! If they are deemed to meet HubPages' standards, they will most likely be published to Letterpile.

I usually wait a few weeks before submitting an article from HP that wasn't moved automatically since there's a better chance it will be moved compared to an older article.  They just put their attention on new articles and rarely revisit older ones for the purposes of moving them (though I've had several older ones also moved since the process started).  But if after 2-4 weeks (depending on when my last article was submitted for a niche site) the new one hasn't been moved, I'll look over it again to make sure it's in good shape, then submit it to a niche site.  That's the only reason I'd wait on an article but I'd also not let the two week period go by without trying to submit something.  Your articles are kind of dead in terms of views and earnings when they sit on HP and the sooner you get them all on one of the niche sites the better you'll be.  So if you have something that hasn't been moved, go ahead and submit it so you can submit another one as soon as that two week period is up.  Good luck.

EDIT: Few things can't be moved - just articles that can't be fit into any specific niche site.  You might want to check out Linda Sue Grimes (@MayaSheddTemple).  She writes poetry critiques and analysis as well as her own fiction, poetry and songs which she publishes on here.  She'd be a good person for you to hook up with for advice.
