Erm, AdSense says I'm displaying restricted content

Just got a violation notification from AdSense. Page involved:

    toughnickel.com/business/12-Greek-Gods-Archetypes-for-Entrepreneurs

If that's porn, then we truly live in an unusual world. But then again, it might be because of the name Aphrodite. Or that the illustrations displayed bare arms. *roll eyes*

Thing is, what should I do? Wait it out? Request a review?

This is silly, to say the least. But that isn't one of my better hubs, so my concern is more towards my account's standing.

Maybe post the images on their support forum. That's what I did with my shocking photos and the warning disappeared. It seems they're really getting their knickers in a twist the last few months and their AI needs some tweaking. Anything that's flesh coloured or a combination of flesh with red bits seems to get them up in arms. It's all very silly really.

      This is the forum:

      https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/adsense

Edit: Did you check "policy centre" on your dashboard? It gives more detail on the nature of the violation.

Hey Eugbug, thanks for the suggestion. I'll try that.

I did check within my AS account and the specific warning is adult content. What really worries me, though, is that under this, there's a line on links promoting adult content. That leads me to wonder whether it's because of all those questionable links our hubs have been displaying. The pubic hair, sexual intimacy etc. Hopefully it's not those for that would be way beyond what any of us can resolve.

This is worrying because it means that HubPages and its associated sites may get Google-slapped. Again.

      Hi CYong74,

I've reviewed your article and it looks like an error on AdSense's end. Visit the Policy Center in your AdSense account, click on the violation link and request a review. I'm sure it will clear up.

Hey Matt, thanks for the help! I went into my account and guess what, the violation warning vanished.

It's indeed an AdSense error. Wonder whether they are squirming in embarrassment at the moment.

Did you get permission to use those images?  If not, that may be your problem.

LOL! oh dear! not you too? I got one yesterday! They must have employed some old foggy who gets a touch of the vapors when seeing an ankle!
Mine mentioned the word naked! and I wrote it five years ago!

It's ridiculous, isn't it? I wrote mine two years ago, and it's a business article on staffing.

What's weirder is that right before this, I had a double-red arrow traffic surge. Never had that before for this hub for it has never done well. Seems like with traffic increase, you don't only suffer lowered CPM, you get adult content violations too!

Zeus's nipples could be the problem. Maybe chop off the lower part of that image and "airbrush" out Poseidon's ones while you're at it smile

Yeah, I kinda noticed it's the dudes, not the gals, who seem indecent. Oh gosh, I didn't realize Greek mythology is so lascivious!
