Hi Fellow-Hubbers,
I have been an active writer on HP for several years. About a year ago I responded to a forum post from a writer looking to sell her account. I ended up paying her a respectable amount for about 50 articles, mostly recipes.
The change-over process was easier than I thought it would be. I simply sent the payment to her PayPal account, and she gave me her log-in data that I changed to my own. We stayed friendly via email for some time afterward. It was a good experience.
I'm interested in buying more accounts. I have checked with the HubTeam and it's fine with them if we do this. If you would like to discuss selling your account, please drop me a line at greenmindgreenmind@gmail.com.
Thanks!
GM
It's like an investment. You get monthly dividends on it, something like stocks I would say.
Only if the account is in good standing, right? How are you able to get monthly dividends on your hubs?
I'm not the one buying hubs, but I get payout each month so I would see that as a dividend if I were to "invest" in someone's work. The person who posted here bought Marisa's account if I am not wrong, and he makes sure that the account is worth buying before making an offer. So yeah, the account is in good standing and is making money.
Lobobrandon is right -- it's essentially an investment that may pay off over time. However there is also an upkeep aspect to it -- I am able to change and improve the articles as I see fit.
Oh. I see. I am also getting payout but not every month, like every 5 months. I am planning to level up my standing here so I can reach that monthly payout level. I have not tried any marketing strategies as well. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can effectively gain more hub exposure? Thanks
I don't do any marketing other than make sure that I have good on Page SEO done. I have an article about that if you go to my profile, On Page SEO for hubpages, other than that you should also take a look at the learning center, look at the section covering stellar articles.

Hey folks. I'm a long time member here and an SEO guy by trade. I love this platform and want to support it. I've been digging into Panda data, and I have a few suggestions. Let's work together and 'right the ship!' 1) Start a brand new account today. Fresh content is what Hubpages needs. Google...

Just thought of what hubbers would like to know about in terms of information.

I've been here for almost two years now and have published 25 featured hubs. I calculated my average views per hub per day as 4. It is actually a bit better than that because the numbers involved the beginning period when I had only a couple of hubs and no views at all. But you Hubbers out there...

I'm never done any such hub, so would appreciate some sharing. Would a long list totaling some 6- K words be too long? (Worse, unfeatured?) Would it be alright as long as it's properly structured?

I posted 10 hubs, 5 have been featured, the rest 5 just be published, so I'm thinking about if the hubs not be featured, that means that would never be indexed by google, should I delete it and move to others like squidoo or ezinearticles? Cuz its meaningless for SEO if not be public for search...

I am looking for someone to write five articles containing 450-500 words each on the subject of "women's heart rate monitors". I would like the keyword in the first sentence, middle paragraph and the beginning of the last paragraph.I would also like for each article to be different in...
