False Broken Link Alerts

Over the last week, I've had several "broken link" alerts on the stats page, and in clicking "retest," they all came back with "link bad."

However, when I went into edit mode in the article, only ONE was actually a non-functioning link; the other 4 worked just fine, forcing me to click "ignore" on the stats page.

The fact that I know the solution does not address the fact that this is some sort of glitch, and causes both time and annoyance in dealing with the problem.

Please fix this.  If it's happening to me, I'm sure it's happening to others; maybe I'm just the only squeaky wheel. . .

      Hi Ms Lizzy,

Just to let you know, I had the same problem about a week ago, so I sent HubPages a message asking whether this is a glitch, and it is.

They're aware of it and I'm sure they're working on it.

Also, they advised me to just ignore it for now, so you should probably do the same.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We are still working on a fix for this issue. Please click the ignore button to get rid of the warnings.

The irritating thing is, that this particular glitch happens again and again!  I wish they'd find a permanent fix!

It's only 4am in California. I'll give the team a few more hours to get to work. smile
What happens is that all my 14 so called "broken linksĀ· point to the same, non-existant video URL.

Yes. It is frustrating. I click "ignore," and that handles it.

I usually check them within the article, because every now and again, there is ...ONE... that is actually broken.

Same here. I check all of them in the article, and occasionally there is a bad link. After I've checked I go back and click the ! and ignore, so the warning goes away. I have lots of videos in my hubs, so it really does get annoying.
