I'm not sure what the font size is on niche sites, but it seems to be a bit on the small size compared to other sites. This means that the reading experience on HD laptop/desktop screens could be a turn-off for viewers unless they've adjusted the personalisation settings, causing them to hit the back button. Maybe there could be an option for us to choose it when we compose our text? On math articles especially, superscripts and subscripts are almost illegible with the current font size unless a user starts fiddling with zoom settings.
Hmm. It seems this is set by the browser (16 point Times New Roman by default on Firefox). But it appears bigger on some webpages, so presumably they override the default?
The size can be checked using Firefox Inspector. (right click on text and select from the menu, then check the info in the windows that appear at the bottom of the screen). On Owlcation it's 13.8px Arial.
The font size on Bellatory.com is 18 px Arial.
Font size can be easily increased on a browser (on Firefox by doing CTRL and roll mouse wheel, not sure if this is standard for all browsers?). However this effectively zooms everything on the display rather than changing the size of text in the article itself. There is a lot of white space to the left and right of ads/related articles so nothing goes off screen. (How come there's so much unused white space? Is it just because the one version of the page has to suffice for desktop and mobile devices? Seems a waste)

I've never been able to understand why the comments capsule is optional. After all, we have the ability to moderate and deny comments if we don't like them. Seems to me the only people who wouldn't want comments are the spammers, so why do we make it easy for them?

Is it just me, my increasingly poor eyesight, my browser, even my PC, or has the font size of the characters on many Hub Pages screens been significantly decreased? I notice it particularly in edit mode on Hubs but also on the Statistics page and even here on the forum. Until a week ago, I didn't...

I have written all my hubs with my font size set to 22 and wonder now that with a more normal size they will not have the neat appearance that I designed into them. Can I get a few opinions on the appearance of this hub, along with the font size you are using on your browser? I realize that...

I've taken a screen shot from one of my own articles and from Wikipedia. Both tabs in the browser were at the same zoom level, so I was considering relative size rather than absolute size.Do you think the HubPages font weight is a bit light? I.e. Are letters too thin? Could the font size be...

Someone mentioned there was a problem with this before on Windows. I'm seeing the same phenomenon using Chrome on Android. H2 titles are small and H3 are much bigger. I've emailed a screenshot to the team.
