      In other words, keep trying. There is a learning curve that takes time to complete. Daily practice is the key.

      Yes, as Americans we loved The Babe for his home runs. What a powerhouse! I had never heard of the losing curse mentioned in the comments. I do know The Babe had short legs with his stocky build, so he wasn't the best runner...maybe that was one incentive for hitting home runs--that way he could take his time getting around the bases!

    I love baseball. I spent many afternoons with the green monster in Fenway park. The smell of peanuts roasting in the air. The roar of the crowd when the ball is hit. Getting amazing hot dogs. Every Bostonian is familiar with The Great Bambino "Babe". And the curse that followed...86 years of Boston Red Sox failures. Why "Babe!". Oh well we all still love him. Great quote from an amazing man and ball player. He will never be forgotten. "Keep hitting them home runs in heaven Bambino!"

      I heard about the curse, and I can't remember the story behind it. But, he sure liked to hit home runs.
