what three positions did babe ruth play
base ball related
Babe Ruth began his career as a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. In fact, from 1914-1917 that was all he did. In 1918, when the Red Sox discovered he was a great hitter, they started to play him in the field more. Ruth mostly played right field, but also had a few stints in left field as well. In an attempt to get Ruth to be able to hit even more, the Red Sox also started playing him at first base sparingly. Scattered throughout his entire career, Ruth played first base 32 times. So the answer to your question is that Babe Ruth played as a pitcher, outfielder (right field primarily, with a few left field appearances), and a first baseman for 32 career games.
The facts stated above are absolutely true as I remember them too but in his early career G.H. Ruth was also signed by the minor league Baltimore Orioles organization as a young pitcher at 19 years old before he became the property of the major league Philadelphia Athletics who didn't want him and passed him in turn to the Cincinnati Reds who traded him to the Red Sox where pitching was needed. Did you know he won his first game? For the whole picture of Mr. Ruth I would suggest you see this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babe_Ruth#Early_years

I have tried to watch baseball multiple times, but every time I watch it,I just can't get into it. It's too boring for me. I'm sure I'l like it when I'm older, but for those who like it now; what makes it so entertaining to you?

Will one of baseball's best closers be forced to end his career because of a freak fielding injury during batting practice?
