This is one of the best tips from Maven, and easy to implement. After watching the video, I reviewed some of my hub summaries and found simple changes to improve hooking readers with a better impression of the content.

Interesting there was no mention of using your keywords in the meta description. I guess you said stick to topic, so that's kind of the same. While using keywords probably won't help the article rank, those words do often get highlighted in the SERPs if they are used as search terms and may catch the eye of readers, encouraging a click. Of course it needs to be worded naturally.

I've always liked to use action words too, like "Learn about" "Discover how" "Find out why". Makes my profile page look a little hokey but the theory is it encourages clicks. Any thoughts on that from staff? (good/bad/don't bother).

You're right in saying that seeing those phrases over and over again looks hokey. A well-written summary is often enticing enough.

That being said, I think it's o.k. to use action words, but tastefully. There are several situations where I'd say that it's actually the best thing to use in your summary.

I'm kind of new to this hubber thing. So, i really need help here. Can hubbers staff give feedback on my article on how to improve it, making it more interesting. It seems that I can't get enough views.

No staff don't give feedback. You've already posted in someone else's thread and tried to contact me via fan mail. All you need to do is start a new discussion here: https://hubpages.com/forum/category/7463 Make sure to link to the article.
