Glad to hear, I miss Mark's stick figures on HP. He designed a snake icon for me once.

I remember it well. big_smile I also recall HP saying you weren't allowed to use it, I never did understand that.

Is that you Mark? If so, draw us a cat.

Welcome back Mark, are you still creating on Zazzle?

Cool - looks like Mark fleshed out his stick figures a bit.  I absolutely loved "Girl with a Pearl Earring" When I get rich, I will go back and buy it.

    ossault is not me!

I gave up forums, social media a few years back.  Was spending too much time on it and as the political mood changed so everything got more intense / angry.  Figured I should be on my computer trying to make money rather than score fleeting political points. No one ever changed their mind as the result of an internet post anyway.

I left HP because rules and editing were annoying to me and frankly my stuff isn't marketable.  I wanted to have a proper go at my own site.  So I did and it still doesn't make money.  But at least I tried.

So now I mostly load designs for tees and mugs on various sites and try to create stuff people will want to buy.

Does it make money?  Not really - but I have a misplaced sense of optimism.  You need that on the internet.

sallybea - Hi and I create on Zazzle Cafepress, RedBubble and Merch.

Solaras - thanks for that and instead of drawing a cat for Randy (sorry) - I'll just attach Girl instead.  I kind of like it too.

Good to see you again, Mark. Glad you jumped on to say Hi. Wondered where you've been.

So glad to hear from you Mark. We've missed you badly on the site. Glad to hear you're doing as you wish. Not many people can do it. Other than you and I. tongue

Well, the girl is nice to look at, but it doesn't beat the cat's ass with the asterisk butthole!  tongue

      Drop by occasionally, willya?

Misplaced sense of optimism...The internet made a gambleholic out of me. One little up tick and hope springs eternal. Mostly I am having a long downward slide. Time to get out and count some humans.

I bought one of your sweatshirts on Amazon--the curling guy. My husband is on a curling team so I bought it to give him on Valentine's Day. There were so many cute shirts there. I hope you get a decent piece of the action or I will hate Amazon even more than I already do!

Oh hey - thanks very much and I hope he likes it.  As for action - Amazon lets me set the prices - it's a case of judging sales potential v. profit - I make a couple of dollars basically.

Wait, do you have an Instagram for this stuff? This is marketable, you just have to know where to go.

Also if you drew a portrait of my fictional character Blandy Cobbles I wouldn't stop you.

Hi Kierstin - great character name but I don't do much one-off individual stuff now.  It was good exercise and fun when I was starting but I have plenty of stuff of my own I should be doing.

I don't do social media so Instagram is alien to me.  I never found a way to spam Twitter, Facebook, etc. without either being an irritation or feeling like one.  So I rely on search algorithms either through the net or on the various sites.  Sometimes people organically Pin stuff or buy something for a relative they don't like very much.

So, going back to the opening question: Did anyone ever find out who Mark Ewbie was?

Maybe Mark Ewbie can shed light on who Mark Ewbie was?

I always assumed that Mark Ewbie was Mark Ewbie, but perhaps I got that wrong? wink

I like the word "was".  Time for a reboot perhaps.

A reboot sounds good to me, Mark.
