Newbie Quest. re: Photos

   Hello, need a few expert Hubbers to tell me how to (or if you can) add photos to an existing article that does not have a photo? Searched tutorials, can't seem to find it. I'm getting that I have to upload the photo, copy and paste, and then republish the article with its new photo, and then go back and delete the duplicate? huge thx!

      You don't have to delete an article and then republish it in order to add a photo. If you go to your article while you're logged in, you'll see the Author Center at the top of the article. (You may need to reload the article to see the Author Center.) If you then click on "Edit", you can add a photo to the article. Once you click on "Done Editing", the article with the photo added will appear and the process is finished.
      
      You can also open an article in Edit mode by another method. Go to the list of your articles in your account and then click on the pencil icon beside the name of the article that you want to edit.
      
      A photo can be added by placing a photo capsule in the article and then uploading the new image into the capsule. We don't need to copy and paste the photo.

   For me the easiest way is to add (+) a capsule, upload a photo from device and save it.

   Also, Marra, you have to make sure to cite the source and make sure the photo is legal to use. Add the source name and URL in the capsule itself, not in a subtitle

            If they are your own (always the best option, if possible), you don't need to add a url. Just say in the caption "description or whatever" by *your author name*. Or even just "Author's own photo".
