When, nearing the end of your biological experience, you can no longer rely on that  internal "not of me" voice to produce anything, even remotely resembling: a creative process (something defined as a succession of thoughts and actions leading to original and appropriate productions); Is it "ever" acceptable to "cut and paste", or -- more crudely put --
plagiarize material in a sequence of events that allows you to use bits and pieces of other's creations, with the final output containing those bits, but reassembled and made into something new.. via the adding of your own individual "secret sauce" and by cooking that new recipe in that old wood oven -- long sitting unused, but functional still¿?

"cut and paste" = stealing.  It doesn't matter what you do with the text you have cut and paste, it is still stealing someone else's work.

I don't have an answer to your question, but i love the wording you used to express it.

Over the years I have had hundreds of ideas copied, pasted, and then the theives slightly modify the wording so that I cannot file a complaint to have their site taken down. No, it is not just simple borrowing, and no, it is not okay.

No, it's not okay to plagiarise, but it is fine to build on what others have done. To extend it or to take it in a new direction. That's how progress is made.

Is this an ironic post, because I'm pretty sure it was posted before?
