"Half the world is composed of people who have something to say and can't, and the other half who have nothing to say and keep on saying it."

I disagree with Frost on this.  I have heard people who have something to say and say it very well.  However, I will agree that there are many who have nothing to say and say it too much.  And then there are those of us who have something to say but write about it instead.

I think that Robert was trying to tell us that we may have something around us of value and not appreciate it while ,others don't have anything considered to be valuable yet they treasure it so much.

Then there are those who write too much and have nothing to say like philosophers such as Kant and Spenser.

Exactly kenna, But sometimes we can't explain anything to anyone by saying too much.

This reminds me of that quote by Charles Bukowski: “The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.”

      Rose,
I can agree with this quote to a certain extent. The intelligent people today are probably in a lot of doubt about our government leaders—the majority of them are very stupid.
