HP says they are excited to announce that five of our Network Sites have been rendered by their front-end publishing platform—I am guessing that means Maven.
Those sites are TatRing, RemedyGrove, YouMeMindBody, Patient'sLounge, and HealthProAdvice.
They encourage us to check them out and let them know what we think!.
I have articles on RemedyGrove, and I am still on the fence. But the format concerns me because the reader can’t differentiate between the article, comments, and Q&A. Any thoughts?
Kenna, I think that might have been intentional. It could keep the reader engaged longer.
Many readers tend to leave without reading comments or Q&A from other readers. By using the same style, readers might continue reading and potentially seeing additional ads. That could possibly translate into more earnings for us.
Glen, that's a positive theory. I'd love to see that happen. But it looks unorganized and without guidance. I will see how it plays out.
I thought Samantha said that Q&A were no more, and that comments will soon go the same way. Then it will be just the article with no interaction. Or have I misunderstood?
Hi guys,
From the initial announcement thread:
"Existing Q&As will appear as static content on the page. The Q&A feature is being retired across all Network Sites and new questions are not being accepted. "
"New comments will not be accepted on articles, at least temporarily. TatRing only received 24 new comments in May, but we understand that comments are an important part of the community, and we are working on a solution to make this feature available." (This applies to all of the migrated sites, not just TatRing.)
Hope that clears things up!

I notice I still have some articles published on Hubpages.com. What's the story about those? Are they visible and indexed on the web? The URLs are appearing in a search, so they must be.

I'm noticing that thing happening again where I have to sign in on the niche site separately from signing into HubPages. Usually, I can just sign into HubPages and it automatically signs me into the niche sites. Not a huge deal, but it a bit of hassle to have to sign in separately to answer every...

We are in the introductory stages of discussing ways in which our premium Network Sites might benefit from some of the improvements made to Maven’s other properties like Sports Illustrated. This process of adapting front-end improvements to our Network Sites takes careful thought and planning by...

Hi all. As indicated in last week’s press release, parts of The Arena Group have begun using AI to assist with content creation. Although several news articles have erroneously referenced the use of AI on PetHelpful and DenGarden, AI is not currently being used for staff content creation on any of...
