      Hi there,

If you've recently published it, it will be automatically considered for a niche site. If you don't receive any notification within a month, you can submit it yourself via the Author View link on your stats page.

However, there are a couple of things you should do before submission:

Check your preferred network site and make sure your article is up to the standard there.

Do a thorough proofread or get someone to do it for you.

Make sure all your images are credited to the source properly and that they carry the right license. I noticed on your other articles that you don't do it correctly. This will help:

      Good luck.

I am planning to feature this article on the toughnickel niche site, but I am unsure if it is suitable for toughnickel. Please advise on the appropriate niche site, and if there is any correction I need to make on the article. Thank you.

That's the one I looked at.... so fix your images as advised above.

ToughNickel is probably the right site, although if the editors think it is more educational, it may go to Owlcation. They decide, so you don't have to worry about it - just submit it to ToughNickel.

I'd change the bio - your readers are only interested in your credentials; they don't care about your writing style.

Your intro (and all the content) must reflect the title. Your intro doesn't mention the Gold Standard. You go off on an unrelated tangent right at the beginning. Important tip: stay on topic. Add any related info later.

Having said that, you've mention 'gold' 77 times, which is too much.

At some point, answer the question posed by the title.

I have only skimmed, so haven't checked for grammar. It seems to be okay.

Edit: Portions of your content appear to be very close to https://fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/R41887.pdf

That's okay, but never copy text from elsewhere. Make sure your work is very different from any research site/paper you use.

HP editors give some score to the article based on so many parameters and only then they move it to niche site if it is above the accepted level. It is obvious that many writers are writing on the same theme and only the better ones of course a few will be published there. Editors are quite experienced in their jobs and I have full faith in them. So how can one find out whether ones hub is deserving a move to niche site?
The only solution which comes to my mind is that compare it with some published one in almost the same topic or category and see the differences. If one finds that they are well comparable then apply for a move to niche site.

Article is important and you've been given advice on that. Also seriously consider how you come across. HP generally advises personal photos for profiles, rather than generic images. A well crafted and relevant biog would also help your case.

There's actually a lot to learn when it comes to writing on here. Ten years ago, you could just do whatever and have some success. Nowadays, it's more competitive and HP demand a degree of professionalism.

All the info you need can be gleaned from studying two sources:

        1. The info in the HP Learning Center
        2. By studying articles on the front pages of the niche sites, this is the material that HP has chosen to highlight - don't copy the content, but note the tone, layouts, structures, and approaches.

Even if you are very dedicated and successful on here, it can easily take 6 - 18 months before you see much by way of rewards.

Here is an article I wrote on Schindler’s List. It’s about the editing and cinematography. What do you think? Is there something I need to change?
