The problem is everytime I change countries, I have a problem with paypal. With Stripe, I don't have that problem.
As far as I know, they only use PayPal, Tess.
Okay, I'll have to use my daughter's paypal acount. I'm clsoing paypal. I dont' understand it in German,
Can you use a VPN to login, or is that against their TOS? Or does it even work?
I've been trying to use IVanish in Germany. It keeps saying forbidden. I can't even log in. It might be the hotel I'm staying at but the say not. A friend tells me that Germay is not to fond of vpns.
I live in the Netherlands and I have a USA $$ Paypal account at Paypal.com (in English). I also have a € Paypal account at Paypal.nl (Duttch). I use a different emailaddress for each of them. I've never had any problems. HP is paying me on my .com account.
How did you set up a US account without a US bank account?
Hmm, my PayPal account is set up in English.
Thanks. Are you paying a percentage to paypal? In other words, do you receive a different amount from what paypal said they were paying you?
Not as far as I know. They do convert it to Euros and they make their money there. I get what they say they send me.
I still think I'm done with paypal. I switched my Ko-fi donations to Stripe, and I'll send my papal earnings to my daughter. Paypal don't charge me, but they have for other income. And I suspect that the reason they don't charge for hp is becaus hp foots the bill.
I wouldn't know. HP is the only income that goes into paypal.
Well, I had my Ko-fi income go in as well, and they used to deduct about 20%.
Yup. I has donations of $3 a piece, and paypal would pay me $2.57.
PayPal is the only supported form of payment.
Just checked. No, it's not permitted, presumably to stop people circumventing the PayPal restriction in some countries or engaging in other shady activities.
I wish we could be paid straight into an international dollar account. Paypal screws us with a 3.75 % currency conversion fee to Euro.
Yup. I"ve just switched my Ko-fi account to Stripe.

Hi all, for some reason I just got a notification that my Paypal account is limited and am no longer able to receive funds. I will call them to ask what the issue is (but from horror stories, they take ages to resolve), so in the meantime, I'd like to know what happens to my hub earnings — since...
