I don't know what's going on, but I've submitted two articles to the food and drink networking site. Hubpages keeps rejecting them for a "Site Mismatch" reason. It's my redbull infusion recipe and my lotus energy drink recipe. I don't know. I'm really irritated.
There have been multiple forum posts lately regarding "site mismatch". Prior to now, HP would put the submitted articles in the appropriate niche site and advise of same. I wonder why they're no longer doing that.
Yes, I noticed that, too. I've always had either the generic "it could be this or that" rejection, or the "we'll publish if you do this" email. I've never had a site mismatch explanation, or any explanation really.
Yeah mine just said site mismatch and it was kept on HP not put on another site but I thought there was only one niche site for an article about writing.
I think that since we now have to play the niche fit guessing game, HP should lift the two week submittal restriction.
I thought someone posted that they got an email about lifting it soon. I believe it was Misbah786.
Kenna, my issue was different. It was about a 60-day timeframe to resubmit the article to the network site. It got resolved.
This is a different issue. Now, the editors are rejecting articles saying it is a site mismatch; in that case, we have to wait 14 days before resubmitting it.
Blessings to you!!
What the heck is Discover? I haven't been around for a while and am not up on the changes.
This “site mismatch” seems to be a new thing. But it seems a lot of people are receiving that message when they manually submit articles to niche sites recently. I haven’t received that notification myself, but did have one article moved from “Holidappy” to “Letterpile” as they say they think it is a better fit there. Incidentally it was HP who chose to put the article at “Holidappy” in the first place over a year ago, (with major edits) not me. Since they moved it to Letterpile I have reversed most of their edits back to the original.

Hi,Do more experienced Hubbers have any useful tips for getting your article moved to a niche site? I kept seeing advice that goes something like "make sure you write a high-quality article" but it just seems so vague to me. I have 9 articles now and the only one that was moved to a niche...

A couple of days ago I get an email from HubPages saying my hub had been reviewed and it was fine. This hub was moved to a niche site 2 weeks earlier. Why was it reviewed again. Are hubs chosen for review at random. I think this is the first time I got this kind of email.
