I've been signed up for both ad programs for the entirety of my HubPages career (June 2020) and the Amazon one has made zero income. Is this just bad luck or am I missing something?

Are you providing links to Amazon products that you have tried personally and are very relevant to your article?  I ask because a quick scan of your titles didn't show anything that brought an Amazon product to mind, and a quick scan of a couple of articles didn't show any links.

If not you will earn nothing from Amazon.  It isn't easy to come up with products that a)you have tried personally and liked and b) are extremely relevant to your article topic.

When traffic to your articles is high then only there is a chance that someone buys from Amazon through your link and then only the question of earnings comes in picture. Traffic is the key to all the earnings here.
I am here since 2017 and for me also no Amazon earnings!

I agree with Wilderness. The only one that obviously looked as though you could add Amazon to is the cocktail one.

If you don't include an Amazon link, you won't get commission.

So... think about what piece of equipment is indispensable for making cocktails. Talk about why you would recommend a particular item. Highlight the name, click on the link (chain) icon in the text capsule. Then click on the Amazon tab and your item should be on the list. Click it, then click save. Your anchor text should now be a live link to Amazon.

Do the same in any other articles where you might mention products or books.

I gave up on Amazon a long time ago. I couldn't tell you the last time I made anything from it.

Amazon was a great source of income for me up until the last couple of years. I used to easily make four figures at this time of year. Now, Google and Amazon between them have reduced that money flow to a trickle.
