    I ran across this site from Smithsonian called Open Access. The site has tons of images and data available in 2D and 3D for anyone to reuse with a CCO, Public Domain license.
    The images come from their museums' collections, centers, libraries, etc., and I think they can be useful for posts and articles, as well as a source of inspiration.
