Actually my goal is 100 hubs in 30 days, I'll probably wind up settling for ~75. Wish me luck gaize!

    First off- Welcome to HubPages.

Secondly, realistically 100 hubs in 30 days, would probably you to not sleep for at least 20 days of those 30. Plus, you won't have time to do anything else in your life.

Please remember- Quality Content is required.

Throwing some things on a hub and publishing isn't quality content.

I don't even think 75 would be realistic, unless you write simple two paragraph reviews of movies or music?

Even then, that's not quality content.

But, we shall see what you deliver. smile Hope you understand. smile

I've settled on all of my hubs being 400+ words, typically 600 with informative content.
About the sleeping, that's fine with me. I rarely sleep anyways smile
    Thanks for the advice,
    Phrenism

    Hey, welcome aboard Cody.

Let me tell you that you have done the right thing by joining the HubChallenge and trying to do 100 in 30 days. Needless to say that search engines will love your 400+ words hubs. Best of luck.

I find making reasonable goals more effective than grand proclamations. Producing 100 hubs in 30 days is a great goal if you already succeeded at 30 hubs in 30 days. You stand before you walk, walk before you run, run before you high-jump. The ladder to the top starts with the first rung. Too many folks come here and make big goals and never even get 30 done. Produce 20 hubs. That way you get a feel for the HubPages environment. Then you can charge into a 30 hubs in 30 days challenge. Afterwords you can make a mad dash of 100 in 30 days. You may discover that 30 hubs in 30 days is more profitable. Remeber, you get to 100 published hubs one at a time. I would say 'good luck', but luck has nothing to do with it.

Well I've got 12 down in 3 days, if I gave the impression that I'm new to internet writing and marketing than I apologize. Just somewhat new to hubpages, thanks for the advice though smile

I may be dropping it to 75 hubs in 30 days because it looks like I need to spend a bit more time doing keyword research and less time writing - I'm already making some decent adsense money, $1.25 in the past day but I know that I could do much better if I partitioned my limited time more on SEO and Keyword Research.

Note that my ctr is frustratingly low- around 1% but I assume that's because most of my traffic is coming from hubpages instead of google due to the time its going to take for indexing
